This is a very nice original Third Reich example of the 4-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch (folds to 3-¼ x 4-3/4 inch) Reichskolonialbund Mitgliedskarte (State Colonial League Membership Card) issued in Berlin on 1 April 1937 to Alfred Barlekuhs, a man who worked for the Deutsche Reichsbahn in Essen. While this RKB membership card was in use he changed jobs but his address, the railway station in Essen-Frintrop, remained the same.

The stamped signature at the bottom of the front panel of Barlekuhs' ID card is that of Franz Ritter von Epp, the Bundesführer of the Reichskolonialbund.

There are no Wertmarken or RKB stamps on the State Colonial League Membership Card of Alfred Barlekuhs. The red stamp indicated membership dues were deducted directy from a savings fund. Fine condition, exactly as shown.
