This is the 1942 edition of the Handbuch für Kraftfahrer, a heavily illustrated German military technical manual for vehicle users, operators and mechanics with the latest information about military, civilian and commercial automobiles, motorcycles and engines that they may encounter in military service.
The technical illustrations are wonderful and even include a schematic of the engine of a Panzerkampfwagen! Others show steering assemblies, air-cooled engines, diesel engines, gearboxes, pistons, brakes and brake systems, snow chains, and a great many other technical aspects related to motorized vehicles.
The World War II era German technical handbook has 485 illustrations and four color fold-outs showing Kraftfahrzeugen such as the KdF-Wagen or Volkswagen, tractors, sports cars, limousines, roadsters, tanks and other tracked and armored vehicles.

This 80+ year old example is complete with the fine fold-out illustrations. It was used but not abused like so many of these old Third Reich automotive manuals often are. It has a tight spine and no odor or oil stained pages. A previous owner, a member of the Wehrmacht, wrote his name on the title page.
