In the center on the back is pre-publication advertising for the 560-page book Zwanzig Jahre deutsches Ringen by Johann von Reichenbrand. It is promoted with a picture of Adolf Hitler and Ernst Röhm! In less than a year SA-Stabführer Röhm would be killed in the events surrounding the the "Night of the Long Knives."
There is an unused order form with the address of a bookstore in Leipzig stamped on it. This absolutely original Third Reich book advertising and order form was in very good condition when it was carefully laminated by a previous owner to preserve it. The actual piece is slightly more yellow than it appears in our pictures above. We lightened the images to provide any potential buyer more clarity about the content.

This is a two-sided 12-¼ x 18 inch mail order book catalog with a selection of “excellent German books”. It was published late in 1933 and states that these books would make suitable gifts. At the top of the reverse side is a May 1933 quote by Dr. Joseph Goebbels about the value of spending money on books.
